Came here for lunch today having been regulars here for a number of years. The quality of the food has gone downhill, and the lovely efficient friendly atmosphere the old restaurant had has gone. Took an age to get served and was disappointed with the food when it came. No Sunday roast available for the last couple of times. The acoustics in the new cafe are dreadful, it was so noisy and my husband and I could not hear each other. Such a shame!

What a pleasant 3 hours we had in The Garden Center and the resturant. We had some tea and I had a jacket potato and salad with coleslaw, Sheila had a Christmas roll which she enjoyed ๐Ÿ˜‰ My jacket potato was brilliant the salad was very nice and the dressing I haven't tasted this before. We went round the garden center and bought some lovely gifts a pleasure walking around here .

Having read a few good reviews for the breakfasts here I thought Iโ€™d get Sunday off to a good start with a full English and give it a try. Unfortunately the experience fell short of the hype. The food was cold on arrival (surprising as mine was the first order of the day). The service was a little disorganised and they forgot the toast. Having been made aware of this the server said theyโ€™d take care of it but it must have been put on a back burner (no pun intended) as it finally arrived long after my breakfast was finished and it too was cold. Not impressive at all considering they charge ยฃ0.85 for a single slice! The teapot for two was woefully small and there was nowhere near enough milk to cover it and whilst Iโ€™m sure you could ask for a hot water top up and/or extra milk I was dissuaded from asking having experienced the turn around for the ridiculously expensive slice of toast Iโ€™d ordered earlier. On the plus side of things the view of the surrounding countryside was nice and the standard of the ingredients used good, so it was a shame that they were cold and it took so long to be served. The place got quite busy whilst I was there so maybe my experience was a one off but going by my experience there I wonโ€™t be going there again to find out as I didnโ€™t find the experience matched the cost.

Went for breakfast. Well, the sausages had been microwaved from frozen as had the bacon. They tasted horrible. All that money on a new cafe and they give you frozen sausage and bacon. Have eaten here many times befor but never again.

Lovely place to have a lunch restaurant is spacious and the food is a generous serving and lovely and hot, service is great to and the prices were reasonable We came at the beginning of January and so there wasn't much in the way of spring plants as it's to early, it was mostly winter shrubs but it makes a good day out

Went there today and ate in the restaurant in the midst of the deluge. Both the indoor and covered eating areas were flooded but the staff were absolutely amazing, no dramas no fuss they just cleared the areas of water as quickly as possible, made sure all the customers were OK and to top it all the food was top notch. Well done to the whole team you are brilliant ๐Ÿ‘
